Service Advisor

Service Advisor (Sales & Customer Experience)

EC Auto Pros – Elkridge, MD
$50,000 Base Salary + Commission
Typical Total Earnings: $80,000–$150,000+

This Is a Sales Role — Not a Mechanic Position

We are hiring a Service Advisor to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for candidates from hospitality, retail, or sales backgrounds who enjoy working with people, building trust, and closing sales.

You do NOT need automotive experience. Our technicians handle diagnostics—you focus on customer experience and service sales.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the face of the company and guide customers through the repair process
  • Build trust and sell recommended services based on technician findings
  • Convert estimates into approved work (this is a sales role)
  • Manage appointments, workflow, and follow-ups
  • Communicate via phone, text (social media also), and in person
  • Assist with light parts coordination
  • Optional growth into fleet / outside sales relationships

? Who We’re Looking For

  • Background in hospitality, retail, or sales (highly preferred)
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable recommending services and closing sales
  • Organized, fast-paced, and team-oriented
  • Motivated by performance-based income

Not ideal for: candidates who prefer technical work over customer interaction

Compensation & Growth

  • Base salary: $50,000+
  • Performance-based earnings: $100,000+ realistic
  • Top advisors in this industry earn $100k–$200k+
  • Transition to high-commission structure (10-12% of gross profit) as volume grows
  • Growth path to management and leadership roles
